About Empowering EveryMind

Since 2013, Empowering EveryMind (formerly Inspire Community Outreach Inc.) has been dedicated to helping children, youth and primary caregivers living with neurodevelopmental differences overcome barriers to accessible mental health resources and support.

Many of the individuals and families who contact us face barriers to accessing timely assessments and services or do not meet eligibility requirements for funding. Empowering EveryMind does not require formal diagnoses to access our disability-informed services.

Empowering EveryMind values a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to supporting our population. We can provide the most effective care when we all work together as a team.

Vision: For all individuals and families living with neurodevelopmental differences to feel supported, empowered and positively connected to their family and community.

Mission: To provide inclusive, disability-informed education, support, and programming for individuals and families living with neurodevelopmental differences and collaborate with community partners to help people thrive.

Our Approach

Our multi-disciplinary service providers use eclectic, person- and family-centred approaches grounded in best practices for the neurodivergent population. All our work is grounded in neuro-affirming and trauma-informed care, and modalities may be adapted to align with our values.

Some of the therapeutic training, approaches, and words our service providers may use to describe our services include (but are not limited to):

Please note: our providers are not trained in behaviour modification therapy (ABA, etc).

If you are looking for a specific approach for you or your child, please let our intake specialist know during your intake.
